Well, for 30 years.....and counting, the Marketing Cowboys will continue to the longest NFC franchise not to play in the Conference finals. And all the cliches from Jerry Jones, players and blinded Cowboys fans ( yes YOU) will buy the more of the cliches, fools gold/pyrite Jerry sells. Words of hope, if you don't like the Cowboys then go to another team, real fans don't jump ship, etc.......
I would say REAL fans can enjoy their team ( will not say "love" because is an over used word ) and still be critical of the team. Being a Dallas fan since 1977, before many of you were born and many has never even seen the Cowboys play in a NFC Conference game, since it has been 30 years and counting, can speak harshly / tough love to their child and still support them 100%.
I am a Dallas fans but not a fan-atic. I will watch the games as I would a movie, TV show but will little emotional attachment because all are just for entertainment. Jerry is a marketing owner playing GM. He is THE BEST at it and as the cliche states:
FOOTBALL IS A BUSINESS. So until this franchise can prove, on the field, they are a real football team over marketing team, just watch the Cowboys as such.
This season was over at Spring Training. But blinded fans, as happens each and every season, for 30 years, buy the pyrite/fools gold, this organization sells at a premium. Fans / media soak it up and profits continue to rise without any success on the field. Off the field is awesome. Jerry once again, will be rated #1 in Forbes Magazine, be branded the #1 Sports Franchise in America and even the globe, without even getting to a NFC Conference game. And each season, fellow Dallas fans will be injected with more hope/cliches with Jerry's words and the draft.
And next season, at this same time, I could copy / paste this same post and apply it Dec 2026 because nothing is going to change because Jerry's Pride goes before Destruction. Or to use a cliche: Rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Now, the mockers will follow as they have for the past years with posts like this. Which is fine. Ripping Jerry/The Cowboys doesn't make you any lesser of a Dallas Cowboy fan. Maybe makes you a better fan. Stop buying the worthless gold and invest in reality. Jerry will never seen his favorite toy play again in the NFC Conference game because it is his way and why be bought the Cowboys. ( His own words).
The lines are already forming at Jerry's BIG Lotto Ticket booth. With carefully form sentences and hope to buying into the 2026 Dallas Cowboys.
Mock away, Thank you
