More Romo is not good

This thread is doing a ridiculous disservice to Romo. The run game of course was a big help, but Romo had a such a great season largely because he finally had a line that gave him time to throw. We of course need to stick with a strong run game, but I hope we don't force the run as much as we did last season if it's not working.

Seriously.

I hope everyone remembers when the running game was getting stonewalled against Detroit in playoff time and Romo basically won the game with his arm alone.

Romo will be fine.

My only fear is they will over-react to the loss of Murray and draft a RB earlier than they need to. Converting on 3rd/4th and short is the main thing. They've got some guys who can break a play here and there as rotational backs. Now they need someone with good vision who can move the pile, but that shouldn't take a huge investment. If the overall ypc goes down, who cares? That stat alone has nothing to do with winning.

*If* they draft offense early, I'd prefer a tackle to a RB.
