1. Jordan Davis DT Georgia
2. Leo Chanel LB Wisonsin
3. Daniel Faalele OT Minnesota
4. Jalen Wydermeyer TE Texas A&M
5. Cameron Jurgens C Nebraska
5. Jamaree Salyer OG Georgia
6. Danny Gray WR SMU

Had to trade a couple of 5's to move up a few for Davis.
Since I started this mock wanting size, I took the big Lb in the second.
Needed a LG that might be able to move out to tackle some day and Faalele was still there.
Wydermeyer is big and can both catch and block. He has very good tape, but dropped due to pro day.
Cam Jurgens is a little small, but here is the chance for a guy to "grow" into battling Biadasz
Salyer has various options and might end up being the starting LG or Martin replacement in a few years
Danny Gray ran a 4.33 and would at least give some competition to the #3 wr position.

What would you think if this is the draft Dallas came away with?

I know, I know never happen for lots of reasons, but I think this draft would have a great chance of improving the Cowboys dramatically on both sides of the ball. Just missed on DE I liked, but since they now have Gallimore/Osa/Davis inside and Tank/Armstrong/Watkins/Fowler/Basham/etc outside I think they will be fine on the DL now.

i would like most of it but we need another DE and probably more than a developmental WR.

The run defense would be much improved and the OL would get a talent infusion so that is all good.

I like those final two picks a lot.

I am probably in the minority but I want no part of Chanel in the 2nd round.
Why?
He seems to be a large downhill MLB who can stack and shed, and provide a little pressure on blitz.

No real speed. I understand.

Hopefully if Dallas does what it should and gets pretty good leads, he wouldn't even be in the game.

But as far as a early down run stopper who is big enough to handle the MLB position and at least looks the part from afar. I think he would be wonderful.
He should also be able to handle the inside the tackle stuff that Parsons will be taking without him and most of that inside abuse, allowing Parsons to free lance, use his speed, and rush/cover as needed.

Always appreciate mocks and thoughts but I see oline as a danger zone and I dont trust a ot that big and awkward . What was there in the second at guard

Ingram, Hines, Mays available, but no Zion or Green. I assumed they would use Faalele as a LG then move him out to tackle if he could handle. His size alone should help on the Oline. I do question his ability to stay low and keep leverage on the inside. Salyer was just best player that I thought they could use there, IF, the Faalele experiment failed, or he moved out to tackle.

I question his athleticism in the NFL. If you read the scouting reports he really isn't a sideline to sideline player, struggles in coverage, you can see stiffness in his play when asked to move beyond just attacking the line of scrimmage. Yeah he's physical for sure. But I can't justify using a 2nd round pick on a guy that's basically a glorified two down LB.

I think he is a glorified 2 down lineman.

But if he can get you to third and long instead of third and short, and allow Cox and Kearse on third down.........I can live with that, and 2nd round isn't too high for me......IF....he is actually good enough to do that, and keep Parsons healthy along the way.

When you sit out FA like we do, you can't have your 2nd round pick be a project where you hope he can give you nice play on a part time basis.

That 2nd round pick has to be a full time starter. A three down player. This team doesn't have the luxury of drafting specialty/part time players in the 2nd round.
