Alright so it's finally game time and the Cowboys are going into this year with high expectations. They added a bunch of new guys, especially on defense so that unit should be improved even with first year defensive coordinator Parker. Offensively, the Cowboys should be top five in the league but it's going to be tougher now that Tyler Smith is out. Dak has a bunch of weapons and they'll be difficult to stop. As far as the Giants game goes all I have to say is Dak and the Cowboys dominate the Giants, they're 16-2 in the last 18 games. The Giants will be much improved however, with new coach Harbaugh. Unfortunately for the Giants, their quarterback Jaxson Dart has been taken a beating since he's come into the league and has had multiple concussions. I expect the Cowboys to shut down the Giants' running game (yup I said it) and put up plenty of points. Cowboys get the job done on the road Sunday night.

Cowboys 31
Giants 17

I totally expect them to shut down the Giants running game
Finally, a defensive tackle group, men, we’ve only been asking , for it, for how long.
Yes, we finally have men on the defensive line
And if the cornerbacks have truly improved, I know we have a strong, strong safety group
I’m thinking

It’s the opening game of the season with the Cowboys going on the road for a SNF national telecast. It’s an NFL football game. They’re all tough so be happy with a 1 pt win if that happens and don’t throw in the towel if it doesn’t.

Dak does own the Gents. But this is the first real HC they had since Coughlin. While I don’t think Harbaugh is all that great he does bring experience and belief. Especially to a team that has been lacking it for a decade.

Jaxson Dart looks the part but I was not impressed with him against our paltry defense in the final game last season.

We should win this game but it’s a division game on the road so anything can happen.

I don’t think Dart or Skatteboo will last the season.

The 9ers/Rams game should give every team a heads-up, and as always, Week 1 surprises will be a thing. The Giants' D is for real, and at least for now, their O is healthy and will move the ball on us. This Cowboys team has not played 1 snap as a unit as of yet, so Sunday night will be a huge test despite many thinking (like me), that it should be a blowout. The Rams believed the hype and got punched in the face.......

I’m happy with a tie, LO L
Yes, I know it’s the first game of the season and the long way to go, I don’t quit, I just get frustrated lol

I think the team, with the most starters still standing, should automatically win the Super Bowl lol
Neither have the giant though
The rams are overrated, and the Giants suck .
Lol
But still, it’s a division game. I can’t wait.

The RAMS had jet lag, they were sleepwalking,
Their coaches not going to let them believe in any hype .
They’re definitely a contender, but they definitely overrated

The Giants haven’t played 1 snap as a unit yet either. The giants have a solid Dline but secondary is weak. Going to depend on the Cowboys OL giving Williams some holes and Dak time to throw.

I think we should win handedly but if we do struggle it will likely be because of pressure they can potentially create with Thibideaux, Arvell Reese, Burns, and Abdul Carter.

One thing I worry about, and I worry about it every time a game is played in the Meadowlands, is that the turf sucks. Saw a pre-season game between the Jets and someone, and, at least three times, you could see a player get their cleats stuck in that turf. More than any other field in the NFL, it's an injury waiting to happen. And it gets twice the use of any other stadium b/c both the Jints and Jets play there. I hate that field.

I would like to see the entire team come out and be crisp for once.
Now there will be issues, timing issues, some player confusion. I just want it to be better than the past. And not look like a PS game the 1st few series.

The offense returns pretty much intact. Even with Bass in for Smith. They should not take long to get going.
But need to see how the 1st team defense works together. Do they have Parkers system in order. Or will there be too many mistakes.

Jackson, dark, second to Patrick Mahomes, for scrambling abilities, Caleb Downs is going to have to be a spy, or somebody,
That would be my game plan to beat the Giants
Stop the run first
And don’t let the quarterback beat you with his feet

This is what Eberflus refused to do, and make changes in that 1st game against Philly. And Hurts ran all over the defense.
If he would have put a spy on him. And CeeDee did not have his drops, or at least that last one. Dallas would have won that game.

I don't see Parker refusing to adapt and make changes during a game.
