How to Plan Your Next Event Around T.O.
July 3, 2007 1:24 PM
After checking around, I've found that it's really not that difficult to book Terrell Owens for a party. The only catch being you actually have to tell him he's been booked.
As long as you're willing to pay his first-class airfare and somewhere in the neighborhood of $20,000 for an appearance fee, he's usually pretty agreeable.
In fact, I'm told he gave quarterback Tony Romo a huge discount on his recent 27th birthday party at Ghostbar.
Moments ago, I talked to an employee of Avalon, the New York nightclub that T.O.'s suing for using his name and likeness without permission.
Asked if T.O.'s party was still in the works, the man responded, "No, no, no, no, no!" and then said he wasn't allowed to comment.
For those of you familiar with the New York club scene, the Avalon replaced the Limelight. It's inside an old church, which features stunning architecture and $12 vodka tonics.
In other news, we're expecting rain for the 67th consecutive day in Dallas. The Lake Highlands Fourth of July Parade hangs in the balance.
Say a silent prayer on our behalf.
