I was hoping he would go into further detail but doesnt. He says below that Reid really likes Garrett.

Reid will hand Garrett this win
December, 31, 2010 Dec 319:59AM ETEmail Print Comments27 By Matt MosleyWhen the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Vikings on Tuesday, it rendered their game against the Dallas Cowboys "meaningless." But don't try to convince Cowboys interim coach Jason Garrett of that.

In my weekly column for ESPNDallas.com, I predict a blowout win for Garrett's Cowboys. Eagles coach Andy Reid has great admiration for young Garrett and he's not planning to let any of his key starters anywhere near the field Sunday. Read this column and then sound off in the comments section like you always do.

That's a pretty screwed up thing to say. I'm sure Reid didn't say it, but the suggestion is pretty crappy. These jerks get millions to do one thing and one thing only: play each game to win.

I think he's saying that because of the fact everyone believes Reid will bench alot of players either for the entire game or most of it, and the fact that with a short week they wil probably put little into the game plan. Not because Reid said "I want Dallas to win"

Out of curiosity, who wrote that? I am going to guess Tim McMahon.

While you guys were focusing on Choice getting Vick's autograph you missed Reid giving Garrett mad props.

I'm not 100% sold on Garrett but I'm convincing myself that he will be the real deal.

Oh you just had to drag that out of the gutter.

I noticed that, too. It wasn't the usual post-game handshake. Reid was looking at Garrett like he was a jelly donut ... with orange sprinkles on top.

........he CERTAINLY wasn't looking at him like he is a carrot: Andy doesn't eat too many of those.....although carrot CAKE would be another matter!

Of course Reid likes Garrett..Garrett throws the ball on every down. ;)

Noticed it too. It was a little more than "nice game." The way JG chuckled, Fat Andy likely said "we'll be doing this alot more over the next few years."

eagles vs cowboys is never meaningless

It is this week.

The only meaningful thing is a win hurts our future.

1. A loss hurts morale and its the last game
2. A loss could ruin Garret's chances for HC
3. We don't want Philly to beat us EVER

1. My morale couldn't be hurt any worse. A win this week does absolutely nothing to change this season. Especially with Philly resting starters.

2. A loss will not ruin Garretts chances. If Fisher is available and doesn't want 5-7 mill per year than he will be our coach. If not it's Garrett.

3. I want Philly or whomever we would've played to beat us this week because its in the best interest for 2011 meaningful football.

So we'll play a 3rd string QB against Kolb who was suppose to be their STARTING QB for the season and that is a automatic win for us?????

I want a high draft pick too, but not above beating the Eagles. Glazer says Garrett had a five win quota. Fisher is high on my list.
