People within the Cowboys' organization have characterized a run at Randy Moss as unlikely, according to the Dallas Morning News.

The DMN believes Dallas is more likely to pursue free agent Javon Walker. We're speculating, but the Jets could make a push for Moss this weekend.

Wouldn't that be a kick in the balls to the Patriots. Ouch. But the only thing is he wouldn't have a QB to throw to him. Kellen Clemens is BAD.

i would love for moss to sign a big contract elsewhere, become a cancer for that team, and ruin another franchise along with the patriots.

I seriously doubt that the Jets are a real contender for Moss. THey have the money but I doubt he'll be willing to sign with them.

moss may want a lot of money but he isnt stupid he wont sign with a team with no QB when he knows he can get the money and a great QB with either the pats or another team

I don't think it's all about the money with Moss, he will want a big pay day no doubt, but I think he wants a ring just as much if not more...Jets have no chance IMO.

I would love Walker. I wanted us to pick him up when he was a FA last time. I believe it was the same year we picked up TO. I shook my head at the time thinking he was going to tear apart my team. But I guess I cant hold anything against him yet. Except for the star BS.

Go Teague, "defender of the star"

For the sake of accuracy, Walker has never been a FA. He was traded to the Broncos from the Packers and began his career with the Packers IIRC.

I think NE will eventually get something signed with Moss. They are a FAR better team with Randy and that defense can be had- NE needs to put up numbers offensively to offset a mediocre defense.

I think Moss will end up re-signing with the Pats.

After his Raiders experience, I doubt Moss wants to play for a losing franchise the last few years of his career.

That could very well happen, but don't you think if the Pats were overjoyed about Moss they'd have signed him already? I mean hell, he's the biggest name in FA and there he sits, still an UFA 12 hours in, yet we tendered Hamlin, and signed Flo and Thomas. Kinda makes one wonder.........

I really would rather see us go after Johnson. If we can't work something out for Williams, and it doesn't seem likely considering his contract wants, he makes the most sense to me.

I think the Pats are waiting for his price to come down since the idiot has already proven he CANNOT cope with losing which means he's eliminated virtually all his barganing power.

If I was Tampa with all that $$$$ I would make a run at Moss. As = as the NFC is a player like that could make them contenders. I'm not sure if Garcia could get the ball to him downfield, but he seems to get it to Galloway. Offer him a 2 year deal more than 10 mill per and see what happens. Worse case he is gone in 2.
