The New England Patriots and Randy Moss are finalizing terms on a three year, $27 million deal, a source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The two sides are currently in the process of reviewing contract details, the source told ESPN.

On Friday, Moss started to listen to offers from other teams. On Saturday, he explored possibilities with other franchises and even discussed the possibility of reuniting with his former Vikings teammate, Daunte Culpepper, on another team.

Good.nowjerry can get back to trying to get this bad secondary fixed. this moss stuff was a waste of time.

Well good then no more threads about Moss coming to Dallas. He now has 27 million reasons why he wants to stay in New England.

I would guess not until he signs. This wasnt the 1st report that said he was about to sign and the next day they werent even close.

That's not nearly as much as I thought he'd get. Not even 10 mil per year?

I wonder if Favre will retire now?

I think it would have his made come back a sure thing, but I still think Favre will be back.

I am happy to see that Moss won't be coming here. Yes I said it, I never liked the idea of Moss coming to Dallas. I don't like quitters, we have one in Crayton.

Its still alot of money... but its not the contract that I thought he would get... rather that I thought he would sign.

I think he could have gotten a 5 year deal elsewhere... oh well.

Its funny.... some mention "it was nice to dream"..... not realizing... IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A NIGHTMARE... football/the team would have been playing second fiddle to the media/TO-Moss wars... real or not

This board would have literally exploded

These are obviously leaks by Pioli and crew. No deal is done yet and I actually would be surprised if in the end Moss would settle for a 3 year deal. he would be 34 at that time of its completion and not exactly prime age for another contract.
