for me its the bbc's introduction to their soccer world cup coverage in italy in 1990. partly to do with me being 8 at the time and it being the first world cup i can remember watching but its stood the test of time in my opinion.

I think for me it would be Wide World of Sports with im McKay and the whole "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."

Brings back memories of Saturday afternoons I spent watching it with my dad.

I don't have a clip but I'll tell you guys, the one that I remember the most was from the 72 Olympic Games. It was not a normal intro. It was a cut to Jim McKay live and he was informing us all of what happened with the terrorists. It was the Jim McKay "They're all gone intro."
