Not a player but im going to say Garrett/Linehan. They need to get the ball into our playmakers hands. Also time management has to be top priority. If i watch one more game this year that Murray is averaging 8 yds a carry and we come out throwing, i will lose my mind. Player wise, im going to say Tyron and the offensive line. IF we cant keep Romo on his feet, its going to make for a very long season.

He is important but not the most important Cowboy. After all, he can't play defense and that is what kept us out of the playoffs the last 2 years.

Will McClay and the scouting and personnel department. A good draft will go a long way for this franchise....not just in 2014 but going forward. Dallas needs at least 3 starters out of this draft with another 2 regular contributors.

Tough to name just one. This defense struggled at all three levels last season, and needs someone to step up at all three. If you force me to pick though I would say Melton. If he's healthy I give this defense a real chance to surprise some people. If he isn't the Henry Melton of a couple years ago I don't see how the unit improves very much.

Ever member on the defensive side one man can't stop anyone I don't think quality matters look at Denver in the super bowl they had quality but their defender didn't play as a team no I strongly believe if our side work as a team they can stop the game costing errors that occurred last season.

The offense hasn't been the problem in years. It's the defense. As DallasEast said, it's Americas greatest team sport.

We have a aggressive DC who's attacking scheme will raise the defense to a mid-level unit. If the defense stays healthy, that could place us above mid-level.

On offense, at some point Romo has to take some shots down the field. It was no co-incidence that Orton's offense looked like something out of Green Bay. Even if the new OC develops the short game masterfully, use still need to keep defenses honest.
