Cundiff may not make all his FG tries, but thank goodness he can get in the way of the rusher's trying to block his FG try.

Otherwise, we lose the game!
Cundiff is the reason we have a shot at the playoffs.......and therefore,

Cundiff was the leading player in our most important play of season thus far!

For me, it was easily the Roy Williams interception in the Eagles game.

It was funny because I had called it, and then when it happened me and my friend just went crazy. If the Cowboys lose that game, they don't win 3 in a row, McNabb and the Eagles stay alive (and who knows what havoc they would cause in the NFC), and the Cowboys chances of going to the playoffs take a serious hit.

If Cundiff tries to make that FG it would have hit Peppers in the groin. Thanks for the miss Billy

We can look at all the other plays or missed plays this season and it won't mean anything come Sun. Sunday is the true do or die day. All or nothing. And whatever else cliches people can come up with.

Edit: It's easy to blame Cundiff, but let's not forget the other kicker who's name begins w/a C. Mr. "I can't kick a FG, but I kickoff a million yards" Cortez. If he makes any number of FGs, then the 'boys still control their destiny...

But to me it's not just about the kickers, there were a ton of missed opportunities this season and blaming the kicker is not spreading the responsibility enuff. 53 players plus a few coaches, remember?

Don't forget Billy knuckled an easily make-able one earlier in the game that would have made the second kick a whole lot less important.

Make-able field goals have straight-up cost Dallas three wins-- Washington, Seattle, and Denver. Sunday could have been our 13th win and home field advantage throughout the playoffs, instead...

"Most Important Play of the Season Is........."

michael vick hits alge crumper for game winner over carolina or
mike mcmahon ( who ??) hits greg lewis for game winner over washington or

if that doesnt happen...

kerry collins hits randy ( moon ) moss for game winner over NY or
todd bouman hits joe (cellphone) horn for the winner over TB.

and then.....

our OL dominates STL and JJ rushes for 150 and DB throws for 3TD and
our DL gets 1/2 dozen sacks and TNew picks off a couple .

so, the most important play has yet to be determined for me.

I'm glad to see him go, but in his defense, that first FG was tipped at the line. Maybe he should have gotten it up higher, but the missing part was due to the ball being tipped by Peppers.

If I'm a Dallas fan, I gotta figure that Brunell to Moss part 1 (week 2) was the biggest play. You're looking at a 4th and long heave from a team that hadn't yet gotten into the endzone all season ...

The Washington tiebreaker is the real thorn now for you guys, I think the play of the year should be from that game.

I think back to the 1st Skins game as well. Skins have the ball 3rd and 27 in the 4th quarter, and Brunell scrambles for 25 yards. Then the 20 yard pass on 4th to James Thrash...and eventually the TD pass to Moss.

You figure that the game is over if the Cowboys defense can hold on 3rd and 27.

All that said, there are at least a dozen plays that could be considered the most important.

The second TD reception by Santana Moss in game 1 versus the Commanders.

(u didnt say it had to be a positive play)

That play has haunted us all year long and without it we would have split the games against the Skins, kept the streak alive, have tiebreaker potential over the Giants and Skins, would already be in the playoffs... and more.

the Commanders deep ball to Moss the 2nd time. Not only did it hurt our playoff chances, it gave teh skins a HUGE boost and now they may make the playoffs ahead of us.

the missed FG that allowed 2 tds to beat us week 2 against washington...otherwise moss TDs would have been irrelevant
