Most Improved Player of 2025?

The Cowboys need the answer to this question to be Tyler Guyton.

You can’t afford to NOT see a big leap from a 2nd year first round selection, and to me Riley is an upgrade and with the team wanting to be more physical, that requires a demeanor that is within Tyler’s makeup.

Fast forward to 2025 week 15 and imagine yourself questioning if Guyton should be benched in favor of someone of Edoga’s caliber. Yikes.

Tough question. Most of the true progression seemed to come from the 1st year guys, but if we are talking about the jump from 2024 to 2025 I'd probably say Dowdle. A lot of doubt pre season that he was even an average RB, but really had a very good season despite an underwhelming supporting cast on this offense.

Turpin is a good pick, but I don't think he sees the field enough to take it over Dowdle. Tolbert I look at as an improved player....but more in a Mazi type of way. He still wasn't very good and his numbers are mostly from a high volume of snaps rather than quality play on the field.

He seemed to wear down a bit back half of the year, but Chauncey Golston probably deserves consideration as well.

To retain Turpin they’re going to have to pay him enough that they get him on the field more than just as a returner, even if they have to force it!

Who would you argue is the most Improved player of 2025? I'd argue either Turpin or Tolbert.

I would have liked to see Turpin get more looks and plays geared around him.

Tolbert also steppes it up quite a bit and I expect him to get closer to 1,000 yards next season, barring injury.

Success levels will dictate more with the new coaches...and not 'your boy' attitudes.

The forgotten, Sam Williams..

There are about five similarly relevant players in the same position in contributory relevance. A lot of evaluation involved.

Tyler Guyton, Cooper Beebe, and Terence Steele are three linemen who will benefit from the change in philosophy.

Tyler Guyton will be able to use his athleticism to get out into space and take on defenders with a full head of steam.

Too many times, fans witnessed Guyton getting overpowered and pushed back by defenders. A year in the weight room and the two offensive line geniuses he is getting in coaches will allow his potential to soar.

I had said that I thought Beebee would be an improved player this year.
However I watched Talking Cowboys yesterday and the word they are hearing is that Beebee may be moved to guard, and the " Bull" may be moved to Center.
I see the pros and cons of it, but we shall see I guess !

My thought too. Dude was bad in 2024. Even if he becomes average in 2025, that would be a big improvement and would protect Dak's blindside.

He was still strong in run blocking. His pass protection needs work as well as penalty laziness.

He'll be worked by this group of coaches.
