Most indicators has Cowboys going CB with 1st pick

We'll get one, sooner or later and it'll likely be a good one. Let's make the most of each and every round after that and we'll be fine. ;)
That’s not what I’d call a sound answer.
Who in this current roster is our starting CB on other side of Diggs if we don’t draft one?

I think, and I may be wrong. But they may think they can plug in Lewis, or Brown even, while a CB from the 2nd round develops. I disagree with that, if that is what they think. However, there are a few CB's in the 2nd round that could develop into a starter by the end of the year. Or can even be plugged in to play and learn right away.

If that is the way it works, I won't complain, as he can't be worse than Awuzie, and he was a plug and play and learn. Not great but not horrible as he seems to not be able to turn his head and look at the same time.
I can’t imagine we’d let Awuzie our other starter go without a more solid plan .

And Awuzie was solid enough starter to easily land a FA deal in Cincy.

Interesting how some fans are ignoring the obvious here.

You didn't give me a chance to finish my response. Go back and think again.

Maybe because the natural assumption (or at least the most profitable and salacious perception fostered) is that the Cowboys will screw it up and reach.

I noticed that three of the biggest perceptions they display daily on sports shows like The Herd are 1)Lebron is the KING, 2)Tom Brady is the ultimate, noble GOAT, and 3)Dallas’ FO is perpetually the “laughingstock of the NFL”! They’ll really be hard pressed for buzz when Lebron and Brady retire and Dallas wins their next one! Kinda like late night “comedians” after 46 replaced 45, eh?
You really need to begin watching other programs. Why put yourself thru so much agony.

With CB one of our highest priorities why would we dismiss taking either of these guys if they are there?

It would be anyone else available in the 2nd round. It doesn't have to be the 1st round to get a good one. Newsome?
With CB one of our highest priorities , why would you dismiss taking either of them if they are sitting there?

We shouldn't. But what if Pitts is there, such as Lamb was last year. This draft is deeper in CB's, S's, LB's than TE's in the 1st 4 rounds. All which we need very much on defense.
So I can see them doing that. They can get a CB, S, LB it rounds 2 and 3, which all should contribute and develop into starters.

It seems a good lock we go cb lb oline and safety with our first 4 picks. Now we’re unsure where we take these positions but I hope at 10 they go with bpa on defense

Anything’s possible but I’m more interested in what our intentions are. Safety is most likely coming in 2nd round.

Everything coming out of our local beat writers and media is we are zoned in on these 2 CB’s. For obvious reasons. We need another starting CB.

Hey bro, I say this with amused resignation as opposed to “agony”. Seriously, I’m just making an observation based on drive by channel surfing, and I don’t watch them like I used to, mostly for that very reason!

If we pass on Surtain or Horn at #10 we will be heavily criticized as CB is one of if not most glaring need.

from what overwhelmingly read Surtain has the mental and physical and method to be Pro bowl player /.Thats worth a 10 spot

True, but I think we’ll be heavily criticized no matter what we do:
Pick Surtain, Horn or Farley at 10
Take an OL
Trade up for Pitts
Take a DT or LB at 10
Trade back...

Can you think of a scenario in which Dallas WOULDN’T be heavily criticized?

We won’t be if we go with either CB. At least not by the media I follow here locally which I’m echoing.
