Bro pollard made the pro bowl. He won’t see the market. He will be franchised book it . Zeke will restructure and we prob let Shultz walk

Bro, DeMarco Murray set a franchise record for rushing in 2014. He led the league in rushing, made the Pro Bowl and also received two MVP votes and the Cowboys allowed him to walk. They didn’t want to pay him big bucks! They paid Zeke 15M per and it ended up being a bad contract. If the Cowboys were the franchise Pollard he would cost them 12M next season and he’s not an every down back, he’s a role player. Plus at times he’s a liability as a blocker and he’s not a great push the pile back in short yardage situations. With the Cowboys being able to move on from Zeke after this season, I don’t see them paying an RB 12M for one season when they’re still going to go with a 2 back system. They’re not going to pay Pollard what Derrick Henry is making due to one Pro Bowl season. Pollard will be looking for a ton of money in free agency and that’s going to create an issue for the Cowboys.

Timing is everything with stuff like this. When will the big cap hits occur? That plays a big role in whether or not some players get signed. You want to stagger this.

They could probably give Pollard a 2-3 year contract without worrying about Diggs, Lamb, and Parsons. Maybe even Shultz for 2 years, but I doubt they will. We're only saving 5M if they release Zeke, so I think he stays. I think Shultz will be the odd man out.

We have a couple of promising young TEs
So I think we should allow Shultz to move on.

If Zeke and Pollard are back the Cowboys will set a new record for RB salary.

Zeke must go.

Ezekiel Elliot

Tony Pollard

Dalton Schultz

I only want Pollard back.
I hope you’re right. We can lose pollard also. RB are easy to replace. Both Running backs and tight ends are loaded in the 23 class.

Jerry is not letting Pollard walk. He has little wear on the tires and is an All Pro. Zeke unless he restructures is gone. Can't pay two running backs. Schultz has had a so so year. I see either a free agent or a draft pick TE headed this way.
