that's the point...

ton of people already have favre jerseys and he STILL was #3 in 2007. that's why he's the most popular football player right now. not the only reason of course.

you can turn on ESPN or any sports radio show to find the other reasons.

i agree. i think crosby is overrated, but who's more popular right now? guys like ovechkin, malkin don't have the mass appeal as crosby, and they're not constantly hyped.

Funny, but Mario Lemieux was despised league wide;Pre cancer, because he was a diver and embellisher just like Sidney is. And both were/are chronic ref baiting complainers.
