Most Pressing Needs?

As of now, we don't know which of our own FA's we re-sign but we have to assume they do not let Lawrence, Lord Byron, Swaim or Ladoce, Laduce, Ladace, the Long Snapper walk but it is a possibility R. Smith, Beasley and Austin do walk. Let's assume all 3 are gone.

This is my needs list with that assumption for either FA or the draft. Re-arrange your list and if there's a FA you've got your eye on, add him next to that need. I do think there might be a better chance to sign one or two significant FA's since they do not have a 1st rounder and need some players to step in and start. Obviously, that would affect the Draft Needs Board, coming later. And look for a thread coming soon, the ever popular Draft Game.

That's my 7 ranked in order of need, how about yours?

Safety
Woods is going to be good, but he wonders too much and that leaves Heath in alot of holes that make it look like he's out of position . Would love Thomas and Heath at S.

Wide Receiver
Dallas needs more guys but they dont need a starter. Get a guy to compete with Cedric Wilson in FAor the draft.
Really like Deebo Samuel, he couldnt be stopped in the slot.

TE
Hope Dallas goes after Jesse James

DT
I think randy Gregory comes into his own and allows Crawford to go back fulltime 3tech, DRaft Willis. He has some off the field stuff
love Isaiah Buggs in the draft.

1. DT. Get a value FA and draft the guy that tore his ACL with 2nd round pick.
2. S. Sign ET or other FA S. If not draft in 3rd round.
3. TE. Value FA. Maybe Eifert or Brate. Keep grooming our young guys.
4. Slot WR. Assuming Bease leaves. I have heard Golden Tate' name thrown around. FA or maybe Cedric Wilson can be that guy.
5. Swing Tackle. Bring back Fleming. Maybe a better option comes available in FA.
6. CB. Can never have enough corners.
7. Back up RB. Someone behind Zeke that actually offers something special to the offense.

If we let Tank walk DE skyrockets up this list and we would really have no way of addressing it.

I have three:
  1. Safety
  2. Defensive tackle
  3. Tight end
And three quick free agency signings to fill them:
  1. Earl Thomas
  2. Sheldon Richardson
  3. Tyler Eifert
That's mine.

DT, safety then TE Would love to fill one of those position in this draft in the 2nd rd.

I really liked Eifert until the injury issues, he was neck and neck with Kelce.

Yep, it's all about the injuries with him. When he does play, he's a top 5 TE. Granted, that hasn't been all that often lately.

But I will say this, there's nowhere else you're going to potentially get a top 5 TE for no draft picks and minimal salary cap numbers.

Richardson is the top FA I want - the fact we were going to trade for him and Jones stated the "value just wasn't there" while giving away a first round pick for a WR is baffling to me. Either the Seahawks were asking for multiple first round picks, or we simply blew it there. Much rather have Richardson on this team than Cooper right now.

OL should be our top priority IMO. I know most like to blame every single sack on Dak but from my understanding only 16 were attributed to Dak holding on to the ball too long.

Stash, if we landed all three without losing our best FAs, I’d be crapping my pants!

Signing Lawrence problematic. Not so sure it gets done.
Swaim always injured. Wouldn't waste the money.
Earl Thomas = 2 broken legs in 3 years. Just say no.
Bease is important. If he goes, we'll need a good replacement.
Backup qb is essential.
Another good lb necessary. Time for Sean Lee to be culled.
I could go on. Needs are many.

OLine-- Need to make sure, we can create holes and keep a clean pocket for Dak
LB-- LVE & Jaylon are nice but we need another playmaker to compliment the two we already have
Safety-- Woods is Nice, Heath is depth nothing more nothing less. We need a starting SS and use what we currently have as depth
DT-- Been on my wish list for quite some time but this is wishful thinking as to Rod believes he can coach em up at the position with the best of em.

DT - Definitely highest need in my opinion. I would try to get two. We need to upgrade our rotation with some beef.
OL - Hard to predict exactly how high the need given situation w Travis & unknown of Connor's progress in year 2 & guys they picked up last year that didn't play due to injuries. I would actually lean more toward T preparing for 2020.
S - We should be able to upgrade without breaking the bank.
WR - mainly because i assume we lose Cole. Am looking forward to see what Cedric looks like in year 2.
DE - you always need DE but unless something happens to our current group its a luxury this year.

We definitely need someone to add juice to running game & returns. Should have picked Lindsay last year ....

Looks pretty good other than HC should still be numero uno.

If you can run the ball and stop the run you will make the playoffs and have a chance. If you can't stop the run (Rams game) you will lose. Exceptions are if you have one of the top 2 or 3 QBs in the league like Mahomes, Eli or Rodgers. It all starts up front.
Eli????....:lmao::lmao2:

Heath's extreme lack of lateral agility(the ability to turn w/o losing ground) makes him look like he's out of position.

I wanted Lindsay bad. However, we decided instead to take a big RB who was in no way a threat to make the roster and does not play ST's. Yeah, that makes sense!!!!

Yeah, he believes he can coach a player who is 6-5/300 to be 6-2/330!!!!! They told him he couldn't coach build, and he's been working hard to disprove that!!!!
