POLL: Its Early after 3 games but thus far who has been our Most Surprising Cowboys Player thus far :

OT Terrence Steele

FS Damontae Kazee

S Jayron Kearse

DT Osa Odighizuwa

LB Keanu Neal

P Bryan Anger

OG Connor McGovern

WR Cedrick Wilson

RB Tony Pollard

TE Dalton Schultz

For me its Osa. A lot of people on this board were pissed off at this pick and he has popped on film each week.

Runner up - Steele. He was brutalized last year and many including myself expected the same result this year.

This organization has done a nice job as of late at developing players and signing some nice pieces via FA.

I think I it's worth it haven't Parson on this list...many thought he would be good, but no one could ever have predicted he would be this good (versatile).

I’m actually surprised by Diggs. I knew he had potential to be really good but I didn’t think he would be this good this quick after the struggles he went through last season. He currently leads the league with three INT’s and six pass defenses. Some around the NFL have him as being the best corner after the first three games. He was downright dreadful after the first few games last season. His improvement has been off the charts!

Steel is really the only big surprise. Next would be Kazee and Kearse. Non of the others are a surprise to me. Wilson, Pollard, and Schultz should have been proven already. McGovern is finally healthy. Anger, I have no clue. I wanted OSA in the second round, so I was ecstatic when we got him later.

Some around the league were predicting he would be defensive rookie of the year prior to the season. Not surprised at all by how good he’s been. Many had him rated as the top defensive player in the draft. Steele has been a surprise his reviews in training camp weren’t good.

Steele and Osa. Steele is the 3rd best on the O line right now and that is rather amazing. Osa is quick and has been solid. Pretty good for an undersized DT.

.exactly. Dont think I ever recall seeing a player in Cowboy uni, make that much impact. Cant believe he's a Dallas Cowboy.

Steele. Wasnt particularly good last year. I really wasnt sure he would make the team. Has held up admirably at one of the most difficult positions to play. Nice showing against Joey Bosa, one of the best in the league.
