A fellow Cowboy and I were having a discussion on the most talented RB's in the league. He believes Marshawn Lynch is in the top 10. Is he crazy or am I?

As a pure runner, yes he is.

All around, I'm not so sure.

You also have to factor in his 10-cent head.

Yeah.

The guy is a hell of runner but I haven't seen him catch out of the backfield hardly at all.

And he's an idiot. Knew that the day he highjacked that field cart and drove it around.

It's definitely not that he can't catch it, he did it in buffalo. It's that they don't ask him , they have forsett and Leon Washington as third down backs who are a lot more dangerous out of the backfield.

no way lynch makes it into the top 10. you still have guys like michael turner, peyton hillis, steven jackson, fred jackson and our guy of course ahead of him IMO. especially when it comes to being complete. he cant catch or block. hes had a couple good games this year but overall he has been below average in his career and considered a bust.

top 15? barely. top 10? no way

besides what does "most talented" even mean. ryan leaf was talented, jamarcus russel was...

it's debateable.
I wouldn't put him in the top 10, but I can see where a fan would of his may want to.

Right now, I see him is fairly similar to (but better than?) Michael Bush of Oakland....and he is very good.
I saw someone include Peyton Hillis on their list....uh, no.

That's a strong list. Turner would be in there somewhere for me.

In any case, Lynch would not be top 10 when you look at that list.

Now if we are talking 2011 season Fantasy top 10....Mr Lynch, come on down! His TDs are making him a huge TB in fantasy land.
