just since the over-rated thread seems to be sticking around thought we could garner opinions on the opposite.
a couple of cowboys that could be up for this crown in my opinion are roy and choice. i realise people are going to find me saying roy for this as controversial as we all know he hasn't produced what we hoped, thought and hell even expected he would. he also hasn't come close to justify his salary. however to hear people talk you would think the guy couldn't play. i've heard folk screaming for him to be dropped, other nfl boards i've been on people are talking about the cowboys must take a wide receiver in the first round because they desperately need help there as other than austin they have nothing. he pulled in 7td's and averaged nearly 16 yards a catch while being a factor in the success of the running game, so while not contributing to the level of his salary he has been a pretty good number two.
choice doesn't seem to get much love outwith cowboy fans who generally see us as having barber and felix, in fairness so does garrett it seems, while i personally think he should be splitting carries with felix. again i'm not saying that he's the best back in the league or anything ridiculous like that, just that in my opinion he is better than he is perceived to be both in the media, by other fans and at times by garrett (yes i know i don't see him every day in practice but i do see him and barber on the field and have an opinion)
for me though the most under-rated player in the league would be d'qwell jackson at cleveland. ok he missed this season so maybe my memory is playing up and he actually did get the praise he deserves when fit, why talk about a player when they're not playing, but to play well at cleveland you have to be a good player. also i guess at a team like cleveland you're not going to get the same exposure as at one of the bigger franchises. looking forward to seeing him back this season. admittedly i'm biased as he's a favourite player of mine but anyway i'm interested to hear who everyone else thinks is under-rated in this league.
