Let's hear it for Miles Austin! In my books he is a superstar. I did a search and unless I missed it I haven't seen a single thread on his amazing day.

That guy is all heart and a beast....big play after big play after big play. I wish people would get off their Dez-crush and give this guy his due. That was a legendary performance, on a bad wheel too. That is why he's the #1 option at WR. Just a solid, Darren Woodson like dude, doesn't say much, but you know he leads by example and comes to play.

Lets hope that hammy isn't too bad.

Go Cowboys! Let's take the NFC East lead by beating the Commanders!

Spencer. Bradie James.

lol gotta be kidding me.. James? give me a break. Love his attitude and he seems like a great guy, but he is slow as can be out there and rarely makes plays that have an impact. You usually see him make tackles 5-6 yards down the field.. Sean Lee is out there busting his butt making plays all over the field that make a difference

So far this year it has been Mike Jenkins.

He has played hard despite being majorly dinged up and has played very well. We would truly be lost without him right now.

Jason Hatcher = honorable mention.. Guy is busting his butt out on the field so far, during preseason and had a nice game today

Well Bradie has been a consistent player for many years now and still gets responses like this. I'm not talking about Sean Lee.

I agree, he has been playing well despite injury.

I respond like that b/c I don't see the guy as underappreciated.. In my opinion, he isn't a very good football player, slow & got trucked by Gore on a 3rd & 1 today where he was in position to make the stop & also rode Gore's back in the end zone for the big PI call that set up their TD after the ball went over Smith's head. Just 2 examples today, he definitely isn't underappreciated b/c there are many more bad examples I could give you of poor play. Hate to burst your bubble, like I said you rarely see him making a key play to stop a series or bat a pass down & etc..

Phenomenal effort to get that last TD! Great game all around, we're lucky to have him

I loved Miles Austin's 3rd TD when he planted one hand and propelled himself into the endzone!!

Jason Hatcher looked GREAT! 2 Sacks!!

And of course, Tony Romo! He caught so much crap last week! He was a warrior today!!

How exactly is Miles Austin - a guy who signed a 7 year, 60 mill-ish contract "under appreciated?"

He always leads our team in tackles, 5 straight seasons (team record) and even had his best tackling season last year. He is also yet to miss a game since his first start in 05. Probably our most durable player. He's a defensive leader as well.

great that he is a team leader and what not, but tackles are a misleading stat at times. In 2010 Keith Brooking was in on 97 tackles. You usually see the LB's with a grip of stats when the front line gets gashed or WR's catch passes over the middle. Sorry, just not a fan of his

Sure LB's get the majority of tackles but you don't just lead a team for 5 straight seasons without doing something right.
