Alright, talk about the off-topic zone....here we go.

What's the most you've ever spent in a Corner/Convenience Store?

I think I dropped around 25 in snacks when I was going to the dunes in Yuma.

But I'm usually cheap and bring my snacks and drinks from the house. I don't stop at many little stores.

Just curious, why do you ask?
No reason really, had just got back from the corner store and figured this would be a silly topic to post.

Luv corner stores...

Yeah, I know you overpay for snacks and stuff but I like the convenience of being able to get in and out quickly.

Plus they do have some stuff that you can't find in full-size grocery store.

I'll go in there and blow $10-$15 at a time on crackers, chips, nuts, small packages of cookies or snack bars.

About $400 for cartons of cigarettes to cart up from Atlanta to DC.

I've probably spent $40-$50. I've done some grocery shopping in convenience stores. It's just so damn convenient.

Yea, I'm in the class w/ Phoenix in a way.

We were having a get-together at a friend's place at a small, private, very rural E. Tx lake. As the day wore on, more and more ppl than we expected showed up.

The closest place to get any provisions of any kind, was 10 miles down the farm-to-market roads, where one intersected the highway.

We loaded-up the bed of a pick-up w/ roughly $300 in beer. Another $50-$75 in lunch meats/hotdogs etc.

They also had a BBQ shack on the side of the building, so we bought several Lbs of brisket, pulled pork, sausage and sides.

All-in all, I'd bet we totaled out at just shy of $500 if not slightly over. The "Mom-n-Pops" who ran the place were smiling ear-to-ear as we drove away, since we paid for everything in cash which likely most went in their pocket. :laugh2:
