I think I'll have the wife make a sign for TC next week to honor Brandon's mom and let him know the fans support him in this very tough time. My wife and my mom are Crafty people so any suggestions please let me know. I've been apart of this board since 2002 and I know the kind thoughtful people we have here.

I don't necessarily have a suggestion... yet, but that is such a great idea.
You know he and the team, but mostly he will greatly appreciate a token of good will aimed at the woman who gave him life and helped make him the man he is this very day.

When I think about it, I think of my mom and the man she raised and something I would do to honor her. It's humbling. Brandon is a good man and it seems his mom raised him right. We appreciate what he's been dealing with and would love to let him know that we are the BEST fans and classy people that any team has, and we have his back. We appreciate his mom for giving us the honor to watch the young man play for our team.

I feel guilty for saying this but it might be better this didn't drag into the regular season for Brandon's sake.

It's nearing the 15th anniversary of my mother's death. Like others have said, you never get over it. You learn to cope. Here's hoping that Carr can cope with this loss and use it as motivation to do great things in life. My condolences to the family.

Don't feel guilty. She may have been suffering. There is an element of relief when a sick loved one gets to rest.
