I believe the worst is yet to come for this team this year.
After Tony went down vs the Gints ,we saw a third quarter that was one of the worse in Cowboys History. I beleive they will top that in future games.
This team has been involved in the playoff race, at this point in the season ,for awhile now. Now that our chances are done for the playoffs, in the 9th week of the season ,I'm sorry to say with the leadership we have and the lack of accountability on this team The worst is yet to come.
What are they playing for , professionalism, give me a break. These guys will get paid whether they give it 100% or not, and they haven't proven to me that they will give the effort.
I will probably get reamed for this post but what the hell ,I've been there before.
I love the Cowboys as much as most here ,but people are people ,if they are not motivated from the upper ranks and if they have no confidence in a lame duck coach (I hope)
I'm not sure the effort will be there.
As a Matter of fact I believe it won't be.
If there were leaders on this team and motivators I'm sure it would have showed long before this point in time.
And as for Jerry saying, he studied that "Changing coaches in mid season doesn't work" ,well, keeping a staff that has proven doesn't work, is a worst scenario.
Making changes now and showing this existing team, there is light at the end of the tunnel and things WILL change may not be a bad play.
I'll go and clear up my e mail site so there's enough room for all the hammering.
ps; let me know after today's game how far off I am.
