Ok. I’ve always been interested in 1% MC’s. Every time I see a guy on a Harley, Indian, or whatever, I’m always checking to see if they’re wearing their gear and any recognizable colors.

Where I live, the Bandidos have a chapter. The family business even employed a couple members. One of them was the President of this particular chapter. The other eventually was killed by his old ladies’ father.

I’ve hung out and drank with some guys from the Boozefighters MC back in the day. Even had a friend that I worked with back in PA who was a just an old biker, and at one time was chummy with a dude from the Sons of Silence.

Anyway, I’ve always been interested in bikers. Anyone else ride with, or have any good stories?

Used to have Hell's Angels come to one of the bars I used to frequent. It was annoying, because they'd have one guy who I assume was a prospect just patrolling the patio, trying his best to be intimidating. Most people just ignored him.

There was a guy who broke down in his Econoline van in front of my house about 10 years ago. I helped him get his van running, and offered to follow him home, just in case hr broke down again. He politely declined, and it wasn't until he turned his back to me that I realized he was wearing Hell's Angels colors.

My brother has been offered the opportunity to join several times, but has no desire for that lifestyle........so I guess he could be worse.

Much appreciated brother. I enjoy the stories. That was a good one. Hell’s Angels are probably the most well known of any club. They used to be the biggest. I think that title now belongs to the Bandidos when it comes to sheer volume.

I really couldn't say. I'm shamefully lacking in my 1%er knowledge. Lol

I don't know much about motorcycle gangs except Hell's Angels. I see one riding by every once in awhile. I only know them thanks to Eastwood

I am a dirtbike guy, used to race them in my adolescence. But, I bought a Harley Heritage Classic a few years ago. I rode it less than 10 times due to crazy people out there driving. Told myself that I was too old for this and sold it 6mos ago

A few years ago me and a couple buddies rode out to Sturis from the easy coast. We pulled into one of the big campgrounds when we arrived. The only shade in this campground was near a small creek off to one side. An employee lead new arrivals to their sites. He started leading us away from the shade. We told him we wanted to head towards those trees and he said "no you don't". We kinda figured what he was getting at but pushed him anyways. He relented and off we went. We arrived at the site and weren't off our bikes yet before five Outlaws surrounded us. They checked us out and and satisfied we were no threat welcomed us to "their" neck of the woods and invited us to come party with them later.

Next morning up early and the whole crew was already gone. We headed out to continue our ride up towards Montana and came across a big clusterfoo a few miles out of Sturgis. Turns out an Outlaw was shot and killed allegedly by a H A. Always wondered if it was one of the guys from the campground.

I don't seem to notice as many motorcyclists as I used to. Read a story where Harley Davidson sales have been declining as millennials aren't interested in riding

Millennials are interested in riding, but you mainly see them on sport bikes. Cheaper and faster.

I preferred dirt bikes to street bikes and there were no dirt bike clubs.(too old for that crap these days) Always felt more safe when I wasn't around idiot car drivers.

That said, I joined the Bicycle Club rather than the Motorcycle Club.

Wow. Outlaws are definitely a big time group.

My buddy is a probation officer in Maryland. He had to go through training specifically related to biker gangs (visual signs like tattoos, clothing, and verbiage/lingo). He says though ya don’t, or haven’t heard much about outlaw biker gangs, they are making a comeback. This was a few years ago.

Anyway, back when SOA was going strong on FX, he was saying that the writers of the show were actually getting a lot of their material from a former Hell’s Angel consultant.

Well, one day, not sure where this happened, but the show was doing a lot of promoting and merchandising of SAMCRO swag, i.e. Hoodies, hats, Tees. The people working the booth were heckled and eventually threatened by a few members of the Outlaws.

The Outlaws knew all too well that the show resembled a lot of the Hell’s Angels traits and crimes committed. The bad blood between these two MC’s is legendary.

I don't ride, but have known quite a few bikers over the years, a couple Bandidos, quite a few Gypsy, even used to go to a Gypsy owned bar quite a bit called Lil Sturgis back in the day. My hometown used to have a bunch of Boozefighters and partied with quite a few, they always had great partys.

A few Vagos entered a law enforcement seminar (anti- gangs) in the Inland Empire and walked up to the front, flying their colors while taking handouts provided, then walked out untouched. A few months later, some Vagos (once again flying their colors) attempted the same thing at an LAPD Anti Gang seminar.....they made it up to the front, to grab some pamphlets. The doors to the seminar were closed behind them. When the doors were reopened the bloody Vagos left handcuffed to ambulances gurneys......

What T F?

I watched a show about an under cover agent that infiltrated the Vagos. Went from prospect to basically a made man. Pretty cool true story.
