Started ridding when I was 10 (turn 40 in about a week) Started my kids ridding at 3 and 4 they where racing supermoto by 10 and 11, daughter did it for fun and because her big brother was doing it. They raced for 4 years son won some championships, but 2 years ago I was in a dirtbike crash and coded in the ER while waiting to be treated. Both my kids decided that racing all though fun was not worth the risk, so they play soccer now!
We have have and have had a lot of bikes because my wife rides/rode as well.

Don't understand why. Is it a Logo thing? 'cause they don't out perform, only out price.

Because anybody who creates a sense of entitlement, based on what they prefer opens themselves up to criticism and the line starts with Harley Owners.

If that is to me(not sure), don't want a sport bike or cruiser, looking for off-road. Something along the lines of Kawasaki, Suzuki or Yamaha. I plan on running trails mostly and trying to re-live the old days minus the daredevil stuff. This isn't a duo thing with the wife to enjoy, its for me only :) She just wants a 4-wheeler because it is safer, allegedly, heh.

Not sure how old you are Dex but maybe you might think about Quads? They are a little more stable then Dirt Bikes but you can still get out on trails with them. IDK, it's a option.

Gotcha! My bad for the knee jerk reaction. As a sport bike rider we tend to get labeled a lot. As for Harley's my Dad loves his. I'm not sure why people are willing to pay today's dollar for yesterday's technology.
