I guess the age old argument of who would live longer, Lemmy or Keef has been settled. Did I read the article right that said he was just diagnosed with the aggressive cancer 2 days ago?

Motorhead : one of my favorite band.....Indeed sad news RIP Lemmy you will be missed.

“It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.”

“Death is an inevitability, isn't it? You become more aware of that when you get to my age. I don't worry about it. I'm ready for it. When I go, I want to go doing what I do best. If I died tomorrow, I couldn't complain. It's been good.”

Lemmy's manager Todd Singerman said this:
"I’ve been with him almost 25 years, and it was a half gallon of Jack Daniel's a day, two-three packs of cigarettes and his other little favorites and that was a daily thing."

"Recently he switched over — and I still can't grasp it but he thought it was healthier — he switched over to vodka and orange."

Probably what he died in too. Watched the movie a while back and a typical day was getting up at noon wearing those cutoffs with hair that looked like it hadn't been washed in ages, then makes a trip to the casino down the street with booze in tow pretty much. Dude lived the lifestyle bigtime but in the end the grim reaper always gets the final say.
