To be completely fair, not THAT many people believed Emmitt would be a SPECIAL player coming out of UF.

I've watched him play and atleast to me he seem to be a good to very good CB and might be better than anything we have now but that special type of player (i.e. Emmitt Smith, Randy White) nope just don't see it.

I think with the lack of free agent corners that will be testing the market next year and Newman's age makes finding his replacement a must. I like Kirkpatrick and the corner from LSU Clairemore. Another player that I like is Vontaze Burflick.

RGIII is legit. He is nothing like Quincy. First of all he's smart. That kills that comparison.

Drafting Richardson would mean Jerry admits his mistake with Felix. He usually waits a year or 2 after it's become painfully obvious to move on. I don't think Felix is a lead back and I don't really think it matters who our #1 RB is right now. With this OL we have to pass to set up the run.

I think we will need to draft 2 CB's 1-3 and it looks like we'll take a QB early as well. CB, QB, CB in that order is my call right now. Interior OL after that unless Costa/Nagy bomb.

Love Konz/Jones/Webster but I don't think we would cut Gurode if we thought Costa wasn't the answer.

RB Richardson would be nice but the NFL is moving more and more to a pass-first league.

400 Yd passing games will be more frequent than 100 yd running backs. The rules favor the passing game. The NFL is changing. The FB is already almost extinct. Speed will trumps power in the future RBs.

He's too good of a quarterback man. We aren't talking about Pat White here. He's a better passer than Vince Young (obviously), and faster.

He's just not as big, but hes more than big enough.

I think he will be taken in the 2nd or 3rd. Of course it is way too early to make a bet like that. Who knows what happens if he suffers a major injury? Even if he did drop to the 4th or 5th round, it still doesn't make him Quincy Carter.

I'm not saying he is Quincy Carter, that's someone elses comparison, not mine.

So let's assume he makes it through the season healthy and declares for the draft.

Let's revisit this after the college season, because I don't think he sniffs the 1st-2nd round as a QB, and really I don't think he sees the 3rd or 4th either.
