I saw this , and it changes the way I see the game now, and many things on the hits players take.
It is a good movie, and I recommend seeing it.

I had just seen a PBS Documentary on concussions, which was informative.

The whole CTE thing is kinda scary, and it isnt just the NFL but the whole career of football players,
starting in the pee wee leagues, thru HS and then college.

Many should never enter pros if they had too many hits before that.

I see your point of view.

I think that a football player should do whatever he wants to do, BUT he MUST be disclosed of what may happen to him if he does.

Many of these players were playing the game without knowing the potential of CTE, and by the looks of it, the NFL covered it up and DID NOT disclose it to them. This is wrong.

Well that was the message of the movie , is that they should know the risks.
The other part is what the guy who discovered the brain damage and named it, how the nfl came down on him.

I did like how the movie had several scenes of "jacked up" on NFL countdown on ESPN. Just shows the self righteous indignation of ESPN, glorifying dangerous hits one day and then vilifying the NFL for their response to concussions while ignoring the hand they played in propping up that style of football.

And the first time you smoked a cigarette and coughed and choked you knew it wasn't good for you. Same with football. You make your choices and aren't forced to do anything.
