Living outside of D.C. and watching the Commanders the last 20 years I see a lot of similarities. First off, meddlesome owner. Second, bad Coaching. Third, team laying down at the end of games. Yep, I saw the third one last night towards the end when JS had a chance to throw a shoulder into their QB and stop him short of the goal line. Bottom line, is there was a distinct lack of hustle at the end of the game on both the offense and defensive as we rolled forward. We looked like we were lost or tired out there. A lot of that is coaching and a lot of that (IMO) is players knowing that the play calling on offense and defense is flat out wrong. Our defense is supposed to be the strength of the team and we never played hardly any press coverage and we have some talented CB's. I do think the safety play is only adequate at best.

PS. I watched the replay of the second half this morning and I think our defense just ran out of gas. That's the offense not being able to run the ball and Dak not being able to read defenses and make the throws.

Double PS. I'm not sure how we can turn this around with Garret. I'm thinking its just not possible. Hopefully Stephen can get in Jerry's ear at the end of the season and tell him his franchise is heading in the wrong direction, and Jerry can pull the trigger. Garret doesn't deserve another chance. He is what he is at this point.
