Moving Henry to FS makes the most sense...

I really wouldn't mind seeing Zimmer try to walk Roy up to the line a lot more and make him a hybrid SS/OLB, it would cause a lot of confusion for offenses not to mention IMO Roy has the strength and speed to get off the edge and rush the QB, but hey in Zimmer we trust. We gotta try something new to pressure the QB.

I like that idea. In fact, that's how I use him in Madden 07. :D

This "move Henry to FS" talk is nonsense. Henry is a good, solid, physical corner, not a FS. He's being paid like that. You can't invest big money into all four guys in your secondary anway. Every team has warts.

What we need is someone like George Teague -- a solid vet who won't command a lot of money.

How is Will Demps working out...

:laugh2:
Ludacris...
Draft the Best available DB Corner or FS that has potential to play either position.. I.E Marlin Jackson..

Then pay that first rounder CB money so no issues there and either move Henry or young talent to FS and problem solved.... A rookie CB could make bigger impact at FS than CB anyway. I have high hopes for watkins but regardless Henry and Newman are in there late 20's and we need to get someone that can play either for the interim.

No, we don't need to move Hnery to safety... What we need to do is play way more man-to-man, because our one-two corner combination is among the best in the league....

Yeah because I guess everyone runs 2 receiver sets:lmao2:

We will be spread out all year long to exploit our saftey weakness

Do you know our safety weakness is being exposed TOO MUCH already in our cover-2? You put a lot of responsibility on the safeties to cover in this scheme, because EACH safety is responsible for HALF A FIELD... The TD that was scored on Roy in the Saints game was because Henry LEFT the WR for the zone... Do you think they would have if we played man on man? Our CBs are responsible for the short-intermediate routes... That is why they attack the flats.. They push our CBs closer to the line, and when that is done, they just go long...

It seems teams are exploiting our safety weakness because of all the zone we play...

If anyone in the Dallas media is reading this board please ask this question today,

"Bill, don't take any offense, but the fans would like to know. A Glenn has been playing great at CB, Henry played FS in Cleveland, FS is our weak point right now. Can you please explain to the fans why you would not want to move Henry to FS and fill the weakness?"

I would just like to know.

I definately wouldn't mind seeing one of our corners taking some snaps at FS. I think Parcells has mentioned Henry, Reeves and Jones at FS at least once since they've been here. I think I remember hearing him talk about Reeves there a few times... like that was an option.

I say give it a try. Reeves has pretty good cover ability and some ball skills. If Bill thinks he has the instincts for safety, then he needs to be practicing over there like pronto. Jones can take his spot in any nickel or dime packages.

I say do it.
