The Oline for the Vikings has taken massive hits with injuries this fall, I believe they are on their fourth Tackle since the start of the season. They also lost two additional players on the Oline during the Lions game.
Sam Bradford is familiar to the Cowboys and the Vikings fans are starting to realize his talent level.
Terrence Newman(their top CB) who used to be the cowboys #1 pick did not play against the Lions with a neck injury, Stefon Diggs their top receiver(similar to Crowder) was out with a knee issue, could be back for our game.

Less potent offense than the skins but stronger on defense. Anthony Barr a LB is a major force.

I like our chances traveling up to Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium, will be a tough game playing in their house as we know. Could be the bend but not break defense of the cowboys is put away for a week. I know Church is coming back, not sure that qualifies enough to shelf the defense.

I think the Quads(Beasley,Prescott,Elliot, and Bryant) could have a big game against this defense.
Great November Cowboys, December is coming and the only easy day was yesterday. Ten day respite after this game.

Their offense is just beat up. Their offense is similar to our 2013 defense.

They're a great defense but have a weakness in Run Defense, around 20th in the league in rush D, allowing 4.2 ypc. That does not bode well for them.

If we just pound the rock and protect the ball, ie. business as usual, we should win pretty handily. I honestly don't even think it will be close.

If there is one thing you can count on, regardless of the team we're playing, is that we won't be able to get any pressure on the qb regardless of their o-line situation. We really need to go defense this draft.
I would agree, this off season should be almost 100% about defense.

Except...

Find a very fast, big WR, and an offensive linema tucked in between a studly DE, linebacker, safety and cornerback..

Agreed, defense with a WR thrown in by rnd 3. DE and LB rnds 1-2, WR rnd 3 and then just more defense. Secondary actually has been improved, Brown for the most part has been great, Jones at safety has been good. The best thing about this secondary is that for the first time in ages we are actually seeing db's swatting the balls away at the last second...can't remember seeing that for the longest time, even saw Wilcox do it in Thursdays game. Can also make a couple of plays on free agent defensive players. Need that receiver though.

Scary game...Vikings backs are against the wall. For a team that started 5-0...the wheels sure seemed to have come off...but I still think they could give us a scare.

Yes our pass rush can make the worse OL look like our OL. On passing plays that is, not so much in the run game.

Don't give up any special teams TDs, protect the ball, Minnesota will struggle mightily to score 20.

This will still be a tougher game than many think it will be. At least the 1st half or so. If we have a 2 score lead later in the game, then we could make it bigger if we been pounding the ball.

however, watch out for their D still. Zimmer is very good at disguising all kinds of blitzes. And he will come up with a few new ones to confuse the heck out of us, or at least try to. And I feel he will blitz often at first. This is why I say it will be much closer. Until Linehan and Dak can figure them out and / or burn them a few times.

Without being over-confident, I think we win this one. Football is a game of matchups, and the Vikes simply don't match up well against us.

31-17 D

The Giants have me worried.

We match up better with the Giants than we did with the Commanders. However, being down in the secondary will hurt us unless we magically get a pass rush on Eli.

Newman is not their best corner, it's Xavier Rhodes.

I'm surprised the line is only Cowboys by 2, I woulda thought at least 5

It'll be another NFC-E battle. Eli always has our number.
