Moving to Dak's hometown, Bossier City LA (or thereabouts). any advice?

Leaving Houston/Beaumont area, and starting new assignment 8/1 there.

You can gamble there. Haven't been there in decades but that was the party town when I was growing up in Little Rock. Until they changed it, the legal drinking age was 18.

I think Xelda lives in that area and can fill you in and unless it's changed that area of LA is a whole nuther country from So. LA, damned near civilized.

I live in Bossier City, Dak grew up in the town just to the east, Haughton. He was in town to visit his high school last week. It was big news here.
