I heard on a local sports talk show that since 1999 no team outside of the top 10 has moved up into the top 5 in the draft
It is nice to speculate about giving up two firsts and Barber to get McFadden and most of the speculation is coming from mediots who insist Jones loves Arkansas players (dont let facts get in the way of speculation!), BUT it just isnt smart or practical and it just doesnt happen!

There is no shot that Dallas is moving from 22 to the top 5, and they're really have to move to #4 if they want DMac, for just their 22 and 28. The Raiders are going to want more than just the 22 and 28 in order to move that far down.

back in 1991 it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get to the 1st overall:

On April 19, 1991 (draft) Dallas traded Minnesota's 1st pick, Dallas' 2nd, DB Ron Francis, LB David Howard and LB Eugene Lockhart to New England for New England's 1st pick (#1 overall) and selected DT Russell Maryland. With Minnesota's pick (#11 overall) New England selected OL Pat Harlow. With the #38 pick, Houston picked DB Darryl Lewis (Arizona). With Dallas' 3rd round pick (#68 overall) Minnesota selected WR Jake Reed.

and since galloway you can't find jones the 'riverboat gambler' - however, those in fantasyland will push on.
