That is because of addware you will need about 3-4 programs to stip the addware out. Install and run them all because no one prevents all this should help.

Install Spyguard and spyware blaster to help from this one

ok I installed and ran adaware se and it found 1,644 critical errors, cleaned it up and when I went back online the pop ups came right back, the usual ones casinos, your PC is infected with spyware

Did you re-run Ad Aware or run the other spyware removal tools? If not, do both.

Sorry about the late reply posted at a hotel this morning from a laptop and been driving back from Dallas to Houston with a few stops for fun and give the kids a chance to move around :)

Yes install and run both with spybot I would also immunize then add the javacool tools to help prevent more of them from installing.

I found that one usually does not catch all them you usually have to go between 2 or 3 that is how bad it has gotten for spyware.

Kazaa is a mess. A lot of spyware programs can't be removed.

Hence is why I try to download as little as possible anymore. Don't be afraid to back up your important files, format your drive and reinstall your OS. Make sure you choose a full partition to clean the whole thing from scratch.

I would get away from Kazza right now the new rave is edonkey and bit torrent.

Bit torrent is a little more sophisticated but has less of the addware that others are using also Morpheus is still floating around and unlike kazza looks like they are going to kick the music/hollywood etc arse in the court system

Just an fyi on that stuff

If you run all the spyware programs you can, and still it does the same.

Then download a program called hijack this.

Install and run then go here http://www.windowsbbs.com/forumdisplay.php?f=41
Read the sticky threads where they tell you what to do and so on before posting a question.

And at the end of the day, if it has been a long time since you have reformatted your hard drive I suggest doing backups and then reformatting...it's not a bad idea to do once a year or two.

You should definitely download all of the spyware programs listed.

Restart in safe mode and run the adware programs.

Once you have rebooted run hijackthis, as suggested by BP, and also CWShredder. Both of these programs can be found here. http://merijn.org/ .

There is also a Kazaa remover on this page although I haven't tried it yet. I don't allow the users at my work to download it so I haven't had the need.

If this doesn't work I would definitely go with the reformat option.
