mp3 help

Ok my stereo in my pick-up says it is mp3 compatible. So I put all the songs I want onto a cd and I made sure all the files are mp3. But the cd will not play in my stereo. What am I doing wrong.

Did you make sure to 'finalize' the CD? If you dont do that it wont play anywhere.

Correct. And if you do it in Windows Media Player, depending on the number of songs you want on a CD, it may not put all of them on one CD. When I went to make a CD of my Mother's favorite songs I ended up with 2 or 3 CDs because WMP only let me put on 15 songs per CD. It has been a couple of years since I did that, so it might have changed.

make sure whatever music player your using is set to burn the cd as a MP3 cd, other wise it will burn it as another cd which will get you what DFS86 got.
for:
itunes
edit--->pref--->advanced
.........................|-->burning--->disc format click the radio button MP3 cd

I can't find it under Windows Media Player ill keep looking though
