Okay this is a crazy question I have had all off season (and even last season) and I have to knock on wood to even ask it, but who's more key for our offense Dez or Romo. Watching the game last night made me think it might be Dez. With Dez, Beasley and our tight ends get more space (Williams too but I don't think he needs it as much as Beasley), our offensive line gets more space to open things up, and he can catch anything thrown to him. That makes a situation where it is easy for a QB to thrive in. Even when Dez went down before Romo did last year you saw our offense struggling... And Dez never could be Dez last year. We need Dez to be Dez this year, more than we need Romo to be Romo.

P.S. Honestly after last night I might put Smith in our second spot... No one is ready to be LT outside of maybe Free

Without Romo will we still produce. Dak looked great no doubt but for now if Romo is healthy let Dak continue to get better

Teams need a combo of either a good qb and great coaching or great qb and good coaching. Either of those combos can succeed with average talent at wr. WR is an overrated position.

Romo, by far.

Dallas has been horrible, in real games, without him.
Romo loves having Dez and he makes life easier, but they can and have won without him.

That was a PRESEASON game

Romo.

Offensive skill positions outside quarterback are the most overrated thing in the universe.

Okay I see this is an unpopular opinion... But what good is a quarterback without anyone to throw to. Terrence Williams isn't capable of being a #1 threat. Beasley is useless without Dez outside. Witten is getting up there in years. And without a dynamic receiver opposing teams seek to shut down the run game. After Dez went down last year in both week 1 and week 2 Romo wasn't making plays without Dez (we still won both weeks but more thanks to the lead we already had week 1 and our defense strangely enough week 2). Just like Nick Foles was able to have success with the system and players around him despite being an average QB, I think an average QB could come in here and win some games (like for example Jon Kitna was able to do in 2010 or Brock Osweiler was able to do last year for the Broncos when Payton ****ing Manning went down), but without Dez our whole system falls apart.

Now do I think we could win a playoff game without Romo... Of course not... But I don't think we could win one without Dez either

Cowboy fans crack me up... call me when Dez shakes it like Antonio Brown...

The correct answer is Dak

If Dak gets in there, then we might actually see Dez Bryant go full out beast, and not just be the best goal line threat in football.
