Romo was injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s 34-21 season-opening victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He continued to play in the game, throwing for a career-high 353 yards and three touchdowns. Romo’s ankle was wrapped in ice after the game. He said he was going to be fine in post-game interviews. The Cowboys re-evaluated the injury today and decided to do an MRI. The negative result confirmed Romo’s initial prognosis.

Man, we win a game and everything is negative.

The pass rush, the secondary, Romo in the first half, and now Romo's xray is negative.

Yeesh.

Yep. And we can only hope that the Giants blow pass coverages or we have no shot...

X-rays were negative on SS Gerald Sensabaugh's ribs. He expects to play in next Sunday night's NFC East showdown against the Giants.

Sensabaugh didn't return to the game after a third-quarter collision with Tampa Bay WR Michael Clayton. Sensabaugh was in so much pain that he had to kneel down at least twice during his walk from the Cowboys' sideline to the locker room.

"It's nothing serious," Sensabaugh said. "At the time, it was a real sharp pain, and I had trouble breathing and walking. I should be fine for next week's big game."

Just keeps on getting worse and worse doesn't it? :laugh2:

I think there's a chance we release K. Hamlin after this year and reward Sensabaugh with a new contract if he continues his play like this...

Why would Dallas want a safety who can both cover AND tackle?
