They were considered comparable until Flowers ran a slow 40. Most draftnik boards will have Cason higher. He was a better collegian and is a good bit faster.

Cason over Flowers.

And check the sig, I'm biased towards VT.

I would not mind this draft. I would prefer Rodgers-Cromartie, but selecting two corners really wouldn't bother me all that much. I think the "holes" at WR and RB the Cowboys have are vastly over-stated.

I would not mind 2 cbs in the first but would rather draft a rb or a wr with a cb

I don't think Carolina will go CB in round 1 either. IMO, Carolina is a team we need to watch if we want Ray Rice in round 2. The Panthers might go RB in round 1... but I think they might be targeting Rice with their second round pick.

Carolina's got its Ray Rice.

I'm sick to death that we continue to want to wait & wait to draft a WR to play opposite and/or possibly replace TO in a few short years. If Jerry doesn't use a high pick on a good young WR in this draft, he's a fool and if TO goes down for any length of time the Cowboys will pay a heavy price for his decision. I wonder how many on this board will then come forward to post that they were one of those who wanted to want either another year to draft a better young WR in the draft or thought the guys we have could get the job done.

definitely one of the more ridiculous ones out there...there's not a chance in hell this team takes two CB's in the first rd...hell I'll bet anyone almost whatever they want that we wont take two on the first day, let alone two in the 1st

and I seriously doubt there's any interest in Sedrick Ellis or Derrick Harvey, niether of whome fit our defense, especially Harvey

then there's the other teams...why would the Pats take Glenn Dorsey? They already start 3 1st rd picks in their defensive front...Sam baker in the first rd at 14???

If they turned out to be good corners, like the eagles got a few years back...I would be happy.

You would get immediate depth and you would not have to worry as much about what has become a yearly injury with Henry.

the Eagles drafted one in the 1st and one in the 2nd, and clearly both of their starters were on a major downside and needed to be replaced...

it'd just be proposterus for us to use both 1sts on the CB position when we have two good starters already...no team spends a 1st rd pick on a CB that they expect at best to be a 4th CB, which is what we'd be doing if we spent two 1sts on a CB...if we didnt have Terence Newman in the prime of his career I might could see some minute argument for it, but since that isnt the case it makes no sense at all

there's such a word as OVERKILL

I think 2 of our 1st 3 picks should be CB's. Yes we have 2 solid starters but the NFL has become a pass happy league and this would be out best move IMHO...
