Honestly, I'm at odds figuring out why they both can't be on the same page. They're both of age and experience to put a better handle on the functioning of this team's front office. If Jerry and Stephen are devoted to developing a winning team, they should be able to provide success, GM or no GM. Jerry isn't one and that's obvious. Sadly, Will McClay lacks the needed clout, so they all vote.

If they can't agree, an educated staff should be capable of helping to settle their differences. It's just not that complex for mature adults to decide such things. They've supposedly been operating on this so-called "community" system of making decisions. Grown adults usually manage such things far better. At some point, they must organize a way to produce a more competent organization.

I read Parsons back problem is a sprain, not a structural issue like a disk, which would be problematic. He can get over a sprain in a few weeks and may never have another issues with it.
