Mulugheta represents 6 of the Cowboys impending free agents

[Kwyn]

Andre Odom is Porters agent.

There’s a big thread in the Steelers subreddit calling for the Steelers to “boycott Odom”, lol

[75boyz]

Well, those pending future contracts should surely prove interesting then.
To say the least.

[Praxit]

..Hooker and OVershown gone. *Barham took his job, and save money*

Maybe Broderick too. *Draft someone*

Pickens and Porter keepers if they can find out how.

Not really rocket science.

[MarcusRock]

He needs to change his name to Mulah-getta.

[Hoofbite]

That would take a massive financial commitment.

Good news is the team is run by an elderly man who will not think twice about prorating as much as possible to years he won’t be around to worry about.

[atlantacowboy]

So, basically all the guys that are supposed to put us over the top.

[diamonddelts]

Moolagetta

[xwalker]

Yup.

No way they can keep them all.

BAR gonna take Overs job.

Overshown is a better fit at the other ILB spot.

Barham is the physical prototype MLB.

Oddly, Barham was off the field on a goalline play. He only played 78% of defensive snaps. Not sure if rest or dealing with a minor injury issue.

[JBond]

I'd keep the first 2. Goodbye to the rest.

[charron]

It's a non issue.

[fivetwos]

This has probably been mentioned, but….

They should be getting some decent comp picks for 2028, which is probably why it was worth dealing a second for Porter.

Do we go with the “better late than never” thing as far as Jerry’s approach? At least there appears to finally be some urgency.

[Gambit]

Yeah I think D Mo is coming back. If the others don’t it’s because of price but I think the whole issue with his agent is overblown. Especially after Pickens playing on the tag.

They will draft Cole and let Dmo go.

Hooker can go

Jones has zero leverage

[jazzcat22]

Find a way to keep Pickens and Porter. Let the others repped by him walk.

They will keep Jones as well.
Hooker will be gone, possibly Overshown if he has some other injury even if minor.
Locke is another 1 year prove it guy. If he plays well upon his return from injury. He may sign for a cap friendly deal.

Nice one.

Yeah right they'll do the safe team friendly deal with Overshown

He's a UFA, so he could always sign elsewhere.

Correct

Broaddus said that one of the guys in the league he knows told him that Mulugheta is not Porter's agent. He has a different guy Odom who used to be with Mulugheta.

Got this from grok:

Andre Odom (of Win Sports Group; previously with Athletes First).

Multiple reports from mid-2026 through September 2026 identify Odom as Joey Porter Jr.’s primary NFL agent, particularly during his contract extension standoff with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Odom moved from Athletes First to Win Sports Group around late June 2026, and sources explicitly listed Porter among his clients at the new firm (alongside players like Kyle Pitts and others).

Broderick Jones cost a 3rd round pick to bring here. That's quite the waste of draft capital to let him go.
