Don't get me wrong. The RG3 trade up took mad family jewels. It has the potential to work like heaven for both teams. My point here is around Jerry's lack of ability to ignore the Dan. The watch is on.. Lol

I do not think Jerry cares what Washington does in that way.

Washington always gets big name players and Jerry never panics. heck I wish he would to some extent.

Nothing could more true. What did Jerry do after Danny gave Fat Albert 100million..... nothing.

I see Carr as our splash and then Tier II players, like Mike Adams and a center. Focus in year two will be fixing the defense through the draft.

Actually I could see either a Carr/Nicks or Carr/Williams off season happening here

I think we will get 1 high quality FA for sure - probably at CB.

We need mid-tier guys at

1. Back-up QB

2. Safety - there are no blue chip guys available anyway. Maybe Elam returns.

3. ILB - Seems like it's going to be Brooking.

4. Interior OL - I think Holland could be brought back on the cheap.

5. Center - I really hope we do upgrade here. Koppen, Hardwick could be alternatives.

6. Punter - Does McBriar return or do they go with youth already on the team?

Now, if we could get 1 more blue chip FA, either as a pass rusher/DL like Williams or even Wembley, or decide to spend serious cash on a top OG, that would be a GREAT off-season.

(Oh, and we should re-sign Robinson as well!)

I wouldn't equate someone who runs an NFL franchise like he's playing
a video game as having mad family jewels. But, that's just me.

He definitely has something though, lol.

I think if we are going after Mario and Carr, then we should target Grubbs instead of Nicks if we are looking to sign a guard. I'd rather sign a DT instead of a guard, then just draft DeCastro.

This is the route we will likely go although I'm hoping we add two top FAs which will give us more freedom in the draft.

I think Jerry has proved over the past five/ten years that he doesn't pay any attention to the Commanders, and if he does anything it will have been because he and his staff felt it was in the best interest of the team. For better or for worse.
