The rushing season record is almost certainly out of his reach. But what's the Cowboys' season rushing record?

I'll be happy with a workman like 80 yds 1 TD 0 TOs and a WIN. Who cares about the stats.

Heck 50 yards if we win. This is going to be a battle. We think the Giants stepped up to play us? Wait till Thursday.

Philly's D is going to throw the kitchen sink at Romo. This can turn ugly fast ... ala Washington. This game worries me.

After week 8 he was on pace to break Dickerson's record. He fell the past three weeks. Now he's not even on pace to break 2,000. He's still on pace to shatter Emmitt's record by 200 yards. He'll need a monster game (like 250+) or two really good games (like 200+) to get back into the Dickerson race. It seems like they've been going to him less lately. Two straight games with less than 20 carries before yesterday's 24 carry game when he was averaging a hair under 30 for the first 8.

Shocking as it may be, Washington actually has a fairly talented defense, particularly on their front seven. I don't think Philly has nearly the talent and versatility Washington has.

I still worry about it a little, but it's not Jim Johnson and a bushel of pro-bowlers anymore. Besides, this team is built specifically for games like this. Run the ball, keep Philly's offense off the field. THAT's where they're dangerous.

His pace was unsustainable. If you look at the 7 2000 yard seasons in history, 5 guys had at least 2 200 games, and the other 2 had 1 200 and a 190 yard game. Murray is trying to do it the hard way, which is to steadily get the 125 per game that you need to hit it. We know Murray has a 250 game in him... I'd love to see him rip one off.

Dickerson had some monster games the last few weeks of the season which sometimes throws you off when you are just trying to keep pace with his record breaking year. In his last 7 games, he had three 200 or so yard games and two 150 yard games. So Murray will certainly need a couple of 200 yarders in there. Unfortunately, I think they are trying to scale him back on touches at this point.

Guess just be satisfied with breaking Emmitt's record, he ain't chopped liver.

I don't know, Trent Cole, Fletcher Cox, and Connor Barwin have been playing pretty well lately, this is a game where Murray has to really dominate on the ground and maybe some screens to Dunbar.
