3 games left. He needs to avg 131 yds per game to hit 2000.

Can he do it?

He's going to end up breaking 2000 then running out of it before the season ends.

Yes he can. Question is do we play him vs the Commanders if we clench a spot but have no chance at the division title?

Next week against Philly will dictate that, they can't fall behind again and try to play catch up with the passing game.

I was clenching quite a bit during that prevent defense showing. I am sure Murray was clenching as well.

i actually don't want I'm to surpass 2000. If that happens we definitely won't be able to sign him. It'll leave him out of our price range. As good as Murray has been . On some of his runs i salivate on how Peterson would've took it to the house . He has a 2nd gear .

It's going to be tough honestly. I seriously doubt he has any more games like he did tonight. No teams are as bad as the Bears.

Also, if he's anywhere close going into the last game against the Skins, they're going to absolutely stack the box to make sure he doesn't get it. They have nothing to play for, they won't care if we score on them through the air. But they will care strongly about being the team that gives up the 2,000 yards rushing, to a Cowboy no less.

I think he gets close, about 1,900 yards or so. Hope I'm wrong though.

If we win out and he gets 2,000 he would be my choice for MVP.
