I would really love to see this wrinkle added to the offense before the year is done. Would it be too complicated to implement a package with both speed and power in the backfield?

I can just see the misdirection possibilities. Romo quick fake handoff to Murray up the gut to pitch it wide to Randle. Even the threat of Randle's speed will have to keep the defense honest on our obvious running downs.

Would you like to see this? Am I off my rocker?

Murray will always be superior in pass protection and with Romo that has to be a consideration. I think we have vastly underused both Dunbar and Randle, clearly Randle adds something when he shows the ability to rip off those long runs he is more than a anomaly, and upon further examination against some of the better defenses Randle hitting the hole quicker is a better solution than Murray technique of waiting for the hole to appear. Murray is still the superior tool but sometimes a special fitting makes your job easier.
We have IMO several special fittings that are under utilized, Hanna, Escobar, Dunbar, Randle, and Beasley come to mind.

They've done it with Dunbar and Murray together a few times. Dunbar is the speed RB, not Randle.

Would be interesting to see. Could run either, or even a pass, as most would expect run.
Yes, easy to say, stick with what works, as was mentioned. But you still need to add different looks and plays now and then.

Yeah, I want Murray with no more than 10 touches or so today, assuming the report about him playing is accurate. Maybe 15 plays or so tops out of the 60 or so the offense should have. If Randle and Dunbar can't handle the rest of the load, Dallas screwed up by rolling into the season with these 2.

With all that said, I think the health of the O-line has me even more concerned.
