I think he tops 100, but will get less than 20 carries. We're going to lessen his load.

If Cowboys lessen his load then it would be the height of stupidity personified. Why mess with a winning, heck DOMINATING, formula? Let Murray earn his next contract and keep our OL doing what they do best - run blocking the crap out of the opposing team. And if you think this OL blocks the same for anyone, then you may have missed Murray's TD at the end of the Seattle game. The big boys LOVE Murray and what he is accomplishing, it reflects positively on them as much as Murray.

I agree stay balanced which to me is continue to use the run and the pass. As for NY yes Dallas should win this game but I don't take games for Granted. At time NY can look very good and they always seem to play us tough.

NY always plays Dallas tough but they are a different team from even 2 years ago. This is basically the same team that Dallas swept last year. I predict a blowout IF Cowboys continues with same gameplan on O and D, TOP is our friend. ST is a concern however, punting, punt protection and returning. Bailey is the only thing that is on automatic on STs. Even the coverage teams while delivering punishing hits, too many penalties.

I think it was 210 yards more than the second leading rusher after last week's game.

Right now 785 yards. The second leading rusher (L.Bell of the Steelers) has 542.

That works out to 243 more yards than the second leading rusher at this time.

So even if Murray has a bad game, chances are he is still going to be in the lead.
Murray has more rushing yards than 29 NFL teams. Only the Cowboys (with his yards), Steelers, and Ravens have more yards than he does.

I will not go as far as claiming blowout, you are right we swept them last season 31 to 36 and 24 to 21 close games. I don't go into any game expecting blowouts.

I stand by the blowout prediction, as long as Cowboys control TOP by relying on the run. Balance to me is not necessarily an equal number of rushes and passes, it is the ability to run or pass at will. Taking one of those weapons away causes the imbalance IMO. Giants love AT&T Stadium and will be determined to rebound after Philly, but these Cowboys are the not the same team from last year either. Cowboys have true swagger now, and we will punch them in the face. Just limit the turnovers please.

Giants are horrible against the run. Seattle tried to stack the LOS and we continued to grind it out. And Seattle was the BEST at stopping the run. Cowboys need to remain loyal to the girl that brought them to the party. Keep running, stay balanced, it is the strength of this team and it keeps our offense unpredictable and our QB healthy and on his feet.

I can't agree with this more. We need to stay committed to the run ... even more so against the Gnats. If we go up on them early, they will implode. We have to grind their D into the dirt, and we will rule the 4th quarter.

I believe this is going to be a lot tougher than we anticipate. We won't be sneaking up on anyone anymore. The Gnats will be thoroughly prepared for our ground and pound Don't be surprised if they pull a Dallas on our Seattle.

But stay the course. We should win.

Not asking you to change prediction. I think blowout happen for 1 simple reason one team plays great and the other team plays very poorly. I Don't expect NY to play poorly I think they will come out swinging, knowing their season is very close to being over and can't afford to lose. I think Dallas will beat them but not expecting it to be easy

So I went back for the last 10 games the Cowboys have played the Giants.
There were times when the Cowboys were better, there were times the Giants were better.

However no matter if one team was clearly better than the other the scores show that it always seems to be a close game.

First Score in each is the Cowboys, second is the Giants.

2009
31-33
31-24

2010
35-41
33-20

2011
24-27
34-37

2012
24-17
24-29

2013
36-31
24-21

So the last TEN games

296-280

4 points difference for that total

Average it out to

29.6 to 28.0 and averages out to a difference of 1.6 points.

Now I know times can change, one team can be up, one can be down.
I know that sometimes there might be some weird butt whooping type of situation.

However for the most part when we look at the Cowboys vs the Giants over past 10 games it seems
that both teams know each other and play each other pretty well no matter who is up or down at that time of the season.

True, did not realize it was that close over the last 10 games but does not come as a surprise. I would love nothing more than a big blowout game with Weeden taking snaps mid way through the 4th qrt while Romo, Murray and Dez sit on the bench telling jokes about Randle getting popped for stealing. lol But I think it is more likely it will be a dog fight.

I agree with you.

The Giants always seem to play well against us, even when they're otherwise not good.

And Eli always seems good for 350 yards and 3 TD's against our defense.

I hope they're studying the film that the Eagles game showed us.

If we can get anything resembling an edge rush, we should be able to really shut down their offense.

I'm sure we will see the weakness duplicating what Philly did may be different, they are better at rushing the passer thus far than the Cowboys. I think main thing is stop the run and put Eli in poor down and distance. Other side Dallas has to continue to run and pass the ball, keep NY off balance and guessing.

I watched the post game interview with Philly's Connor Barwin and he said that the defensive coaches had a great game plan designed to press the Giants receivers off the line and not allow Manning to get rid of the ball quickly. And that allowed the pass rush to get there as often as they did.

I hope Dallas can and does mimic that gameplan.
