American Aquarium is a band out of North Carolina. I've traveled to several Texas cities to watch them play within the past year and without any regrets. I highly recommend listening to them. BJ Barham is their lead singer and they put on a hellva show.
Kevin Fowler, Randy Rogers, Aaron Watson, Stoney Larue, Pat Green, Jack Ingram, Billy Joe Shaver, Turnpike Troubadours, Steven Parks, Sunny Sweeney, Wade Bowan, Roger Creager, Cody Johnson, Ray Wylie Hubbard, William Clark Green and Jason Allen. I've witnessed their shows too and enjoy listening to their music. I started out following Gary Allan back in the late 90's, before Nashville took a hold of him, in the Texas dance halls. A lot of those listed above opened for him. I also like Whiskey Myers and BlackBerry Smoke.
