I’d guess SD was talking to Moore. He wanted out.

KMoore probably didn’t have control of the OL. Big Mike and Philbin were tight.

The running plays were really basic. Everyone knew our plays.

How many times have we seen that A gap draw ?

But KMoore understands offensive football.

He was a QB for a long time.
This all sounds reasonable- and it begs a question in my mind regarding play calling & design. Moore is often criticized for that. I wonder how much of that is on Moore, and how much is on the players? When the OC designs and/or calls plays, he does so with the knowledge of the players abilities and their intelligence. The OC sees things on the practice field and in the meeting rooms that fans never know.

Like Dak against WAS? Keep in mind we were comparing how they performed against the same teams.

Dak has been in the league 8 seasons. Cooper Rush has been in the league 7 seasons. My man... are you SERIOUSLY trying to have a Prescott/Rush debate??

Are you SERIOUSLY placing Rush... a quarterback who's been in the league pretty much as long as Dak but gets released damn near every off-season and then brought back on practice squads???

Dak has been a top 10 quarterback in this league the majority of his career while Rush isn't even a top 75 quarterback.

Listen man, I respect the hell out of Rush for stepping in and doing a very good job in Dak's absence, but the dude is a backup for a reason.

If both Dak and Rush got released today, who do you think would get hired by another team first??

Man stop the madness bro...

To spell it out-

The backup did better than the starter against WAS and NYG. I used that as a reflection of the coach being competent and here I am, months later, getting yet another person to come at me like I'm comparing Dak to Cooper.

As I said earlier. This place is a nuthouse.

It's a nut house when someone cherry picks two games to try make a point.

For example.... Jimmy Garoppolo is 4-0 vs Aaron Rodgers head to head. So what does this suppose to mean?

I guess Garoppolo is a better quarterback than Rodgers according to your logic huh....

QBR measures efficiency,
You are now resorting to QBR to prove Rush is better than Dak? Really? QBR based on 5 games?

Rush's QBR last year was 58.7. Using your logic, Rush is as good as Joe Burrows and better than the rest of the guys on the list below.
Look. Rush is better than Herbert. Your boy Kellen screwed up by going to the Chargers. He could be coaching a QB that's better than Herbert in Dallas. Wow Cooper Rush is even better than Aaron Rodgers. Tell Jerry to give Rush a 10year contract. LOL.

I think Moore was handcuffed against better defenses because Dak doesn't throw open WRs and that's why all those curl routes. I knew going into last year that Dak was going to get another coach fired but I thought it was going to be McCarthy.
People keep forgetting McCarthy was supposed to oversee the play calling. If he didn't like what Moore was doing he should of taken over the play calling. Instead he threw Moore under the bus to save his own skin. In the meantime Jerry fires Moore essentially trying to deflect the blame off Dak. This organization is disfunction at its finest.

Gotta love the editors, right?

I find it funny I've been avoiding the Dak debate over and over with guys who desperately need it just to be accused of morphing the thread into a bash Dak thread. If saying he's not Mahomes is bashing then everyone bashes him.
Here you go being a dick over nothing. Again. I don't need anything, certainly not from you if you're seriously denying you are not in a Moore thread and throw shade about Dak to defend Moore.
If you actually paid attention, you'd have noticed I've avoided the QB topic for quite awhile. For this reason. There is no debate or even conversation because it turns ignorant. Or, you have relatively intelligent people who connect dots that aren't there and/or attempt little digs. I was just sharing my opinion on the actual topic. You call other's boring, but I'm not here to entertain you. I doubt you could handle it.
I know it's coming, so have the last word.

Another one of life's biggest mysteries I'll never understand. McCarthy wears a headset also. And carries a cheat sheet of plays.
Big Mike had a death grip on that play sheet.

I dont know if he ever called a single play.

Mike/Philbin were probably passive aggressive towards KMoore. [no way big Mike wanted KMoore calling plays.]

KMoore lets Jerry know he's going to Southern California.

Jerry gets mad and fires Philbin as pay back.
