1) Like the DL, doing a good job against the run which is different than many years of recent.
2) Ware looks like a freak. This kid got his licks in against the top OT in the game, then shows recovery speed to catch up to a TE AND make the INT. Amazing. Then he chops the ball out of Seneca's hand...and a rookie! I'm sold,....
3) Secondary looks lost, can't seem to cover anyone and Seattle by no means has all star WRs. Secondary just looks like it needs to gel.
4) We have to safeties that can knock the piss out of you....i like this Davis kid.
5) McBriar sure makes you take notice of a punt, he's good.
6) What is the FREAKIN deal with Bledsoe and Henson taking the snap from center?!!? The OT's get backed up and set up to pass block before either of the QBs can get the snap cleanly. Too slow and and quick DL will get to our QBs over and over if this doesn't get corrected.
7) Hard to think of a RB that is more exciting than JJ. His runs are a thing of beauty, like Emmitt's were only with more speed and every bit as much grace. I hope our passing game keeps 8 guys out of the box. If so, JJ will torch the league for yards.
8) Pettiti looked good for a rook, will need to do better picking up the stunts but I expect that to come with some more exp.
9) Cortez looked good. Nailed the FG from about where Cundiff's %'s start dropping. His kickoff's were deep, one even being a touchback. Haven't seen that from our kicker in a long time. However, I do remember Cortez choking time and time again in 69'erville so I'm still a little concerned.
10) I love this Crayton kid. Goes after the ball. Catches it well. I'm waving hasta la vista to Morgan. I'd be fine with Crayton, Glenn, and Key.
11) Drew H. doesn't seem to have the confidence he had at UM.
