Im going to start this by saying i love the fight this team has. Theyre just finding ways to win. At the end of the game they couldnt stop the texans from driving, but in OT the defense comes up huge on 3rd down and force a punt.
This game we saw some of the healthy Romo things i dont like come out. He;s healthy and he killed a couple of drives on his 3rd downs im going for it all throws when the short pass is there for a first. Im glad this team is committed to the run to limit those throws and situations for Romo.
For the most part tho Romo is hitting his throws and taking what the defense is giving him. And the strength back to beat that deap coverage with perfect throws.
Murray needs to protect that ball at all costs. If he gets a yrd or 2 less on a run so what. Tuck that ball and move on to the next play.Murray leads the NFL by 210 yrds is amazing but him leading the NFL in fumbles is kinda taking away some of that excitement.Because sooner or later them fumbles are going to cost a game.
Dallas defense is giving up yrds late in games but are ranked 8th in points allowed.
Love what Crawford is doing inside, still dont know why Dallas tried to turn him into a DE. Dallas tried something i notived the first time this season in this last game, and that was Crawford and Melton on the field together and that was really effective.
Please cut Jack Crawford ASAP.
Love the fact that even with the injuries this team has had at the LBer spot the next guy has come in and its been like clockwork. So much for these forum GMs who called this group every insult in the book from the time Lee got hurt.
Scandrick and Moore are two of the most aggressive CBs in the NFL. These guys get their hands on these WRs and knock them off their routes and they hit. Scandrick hits so much he's starting to ding himself up.
Everybody saw just how good this OL is this weekend. They destroyed tht houson DL. And had Watt breathing hard by the 2nd quarter. Leary completely owned Watt, so much that they didnt line Watt up over Leary anymore instead looking to go against Smith according to Broaddus. I did see Leary manhandling Watt early tho. Got his hands on his and moved him wherever he wanted him to go. Couple of times that was into the ground. Watching Martin block downfield is a thing of beauty.
TW is coming into his own with all this attention shifted towards Dez. He needs to start catching with his hands instead of trying to trap it with his body.
Wittens blocking has been right on par with the rest of the OL the past two weeks after starting off slow in that area to start the season.
If theres one thing i would like to see is more rest for Murray. They are going to need him late in the season with games at CHI and PHI cold weather games. Hes on pace for 396 carries. Thats alot.
Dallas is starting to get alot of pressure on QBs, while its not getting sacks, its making the QB uncomfortable and forcing bad throws.
This week is going to be a good game, and i think its going to be a fast game. If Dallas can keep away from the turnovers and enforce their will in the rungame. I see a close win.
24-21 Dallas on Baileys money foot.
