my minor disagreements with your 53 are

Zeke - he doesn't add anything to this team, no burst to hit the hole, he's been a declining player for three plus years..
Goodwin - would have cut him last year, he's a one trick pony, plays special teams only and with the new kickoff rules, he's not needed, rather keep a young player with upside who can play more than one position, Special team,corner/safety, linebacker..
Edoga is making this team, he's the tenth Oline roster spot.
Edoga should be going on the IR, where his roster spot should open up.

I think they can keep say Royce or another running back over hunter, maybe one off a cut down or fA? Cook over Hunter hmm maybe, believe it or not they could try to stash him on the practice squad because I think zeke is the fullback he's a fullback that can block and do all the short yardage come out of the backfield for a couple catches but also play running back..

I think Zeke is the fullback type though and why would you have two guys or really 3 because Dowdell/Zeke basically the same player and if you put hunter on there that's too many hammers in my opinion would we lose hunter on the practice squad because I think some people are overrating the guy...

I like him I'd like to keep him on this team but I don't think you can have zeke and him on the same active roster... so let's try to push him through to the practice squad and they're right below Edoga is coming back and he will be on this roster in my opinion...
Hunter isn't going anywhere, he is a roster lock.

Again you're overrating the guy in my opinion like most of us do I didn't say any beast I'm he's big yeah so is zeke see can be the fullback in this offense this year so I think it's a numbers game and we need more running backs than we do guys who are like full backs because I think we have enough big guys on this team to do short yardage.. You saying he's a lock I don't know about that if they come up crazy needing numbers or have some injuries he's gonna be the first one to go you know last one in first one out maybe at the practice squad this is just my gut feeling I'm sorry man I haven't seen anything from him that says he's a lock on this team. And by the way if you weren't watching and I don't hold this against him that bad handoff in Miami but they had another one in practice the other day so obviously he doesn't know how to take the hand off very well from Prescott,

Prescott doesn't have this problem with any other running back but him this could be a problem in the game and I'm sorry I'd rather hand it to zeke and short yardage and let Rico or even Royce run more short yardage then needing this big guy who might be overrated again and a lot of fans mind you know your pet cat.. Hell I might wanna keep Pete peat over him..

That's my question will this guy be able to put on the practice squad and not get stolen.. I'm not hating on the guy I'm looking at the big picture in the roster and the fact that I think we need more talent at running back versus fullback because we have big dudes that can do his job that's too repetitive or redundant whatever you want to say having the same type of big guys so we got Vaughn his change of pace but why not a guy like Peat as the other guy? hes in between he a TP type?
We will see. Luepke will be on the field in the opening series in week 1.

I say it every year, but I dont want to lose a guy like Jalen Brooks or Booth for a guy like Goodwin.
Yeah I'd day it's time we stop treating him like Steve Tasker and make better use of that roster spot.

I'm not going to do one but if I did I'd keep at least 15 cornerbacks.

Luepke has an advantage over the other RBs and that's Special Teams. He is by far the best ST among the backs. His versatility is what keeps him on the roster.

show me we literally have not seen a lot of these guys play special teams and from what I understand Royce is a very good special teamer and I remember when they used Rico on special teams he looked pretty damn good before the injury... So again show me these comments show me his highlights on special teams because at this point I'm saying I don't believe you and that's not a good enough reason to carry him on the active roster weekly you could put him on the practice squad bring him up when you need it but I'm telling you right now Ezekiel Elliott is the better fullback because he is a real running back but he does all the fullback stuff right now he'd be the better of the bigger guys to keep you can't have the same damn players at the same position they all have the same skill set except for Vaughn so you have to make a concession and bring the better running back not the full back now if he somehow has become a better running back over the last year maybe he could take a handoff better because he's already fumbled another one he and Prescott are not on the same page hand the ball off and I'm gonna have to blame hunter because Prescott doesn't have this problem with any other players on the team handed the ball off not even to the wide receivers only to hunter that's telling me this kid has an issue being a running back...

BTB article on projected roster

https://www.bloggingtheboys.com/202...ale-royce-freeman-willie-harvey-ryan-flournoy

From article....

A couple of weeks ago, we gave you 34 players to consider as “roster locks” even before the preseason began. Here’s a quick reminder:

OFFENSE: Prescott, Dowdle, Luepke, Lamb, Cooks, Tolbert, Ferguson, Schoonmaker, Guyton, Steele, Beebe, Hoffman, Martin, T. Smith

DEFENSE: Parsons, Lawrence, Kneeland, Odighizuwa, M. Smith, Kendricks, Overshown, Clark, Liufau, Diggs, Bland, Lewis, Carson, Hooker, Wilson, Thomas, Bell

SPECIAL: Aubrey, Anger, Sieg

That list is still intact, and there are a few more names we’d add at this point like WR KaVontae Turpin, WR Jalen Brooks, and OL Asim Richards. One player, OL Chuma Edoga, will almost certainly start the year on injured reserve so doesn’t factor. We also now have to account for the recent veteran additions: DE Carl Lawsons and DTs Jordan Phillips and Linval Joseph. That would take us to 40 spots we’re ready to call, leaving only 13 for the rest of the pack to fight over.
